I like the meme, but try making the second thud softer and if you use synfig for animating its free and lets you make better animations. Like making the monster a puppet so you can add some expressive body language.

Edit: Audacity can be used to that effect. And filmora9 CAN reduce audio although you could manage with audacity since its free. My suggestion would be to record one slap and make a duplicate that's just a touch softer.

TwoTonLizard responds:

Thanks for the advice. I'm still messing around with audio at the moment, trying to find a decent program for recording. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Honestly I enjoyed this more than I thought I would.

ADDY-TV responds:

That's good cos I had a lot of fun making it. Thank you!

try using gimp. it's basically free photoshop. It should help smooth out the graphics a bit. Save often and use a lot of layers. If you wanna improve this project as practice try importing each image and trace over it. I find starting with colors and adding outlines after is easier since I can use outlines to cover small imperfections on the boarders of the image.

BoneBard responds:

i use clip studio paint and have heard of gimp, right now im liking csp because its like animating in sai with a mix of photoshop, if i ever think about trying some different stuff out ill definitely consider it, right now i dont really have plans to improve this just because the main point of the practice was to challenge myself to see how far i could get this thing before the game came out. I am however planning to do a real attempt at clean animation now so ill see how that goes.

My only goal is to make people laugh if it's good enough to make me a living yay, if not oh well.
