Great animation, reminded me of the old stick fight animations I used to watch. Try to watch the feet so they don't slide on the ground. And either cram in more frames or increase the bitrate when rendering to make it feel smoother. Otherwise GREAT work hope to see more like this.

Drawing frame by frame does make smoother animation, but something that might help out is finding an animator with an onionskin feature. It lets you see the previous frame as reference. Synfig has this but its drawing feature isn't as polished as I wish it was.

try using synfig as an animator. It allows for more than just frame by frame animation. Plus its free. They do sell a set of tutorial animations to tell you how to use it for a minimum of a dollar.

Do you foil fill your puppets if you don't it can reduce the weight and add rigidity at the same time. Otherwise I really liked the stop motion drawing as well.

I like the meme, but try making the second thud softer and if you use synfig for animating its free and lets you make better animations. Like making the monster a puppet so you can add some expressive body language.

Edit: Audacity can be used to that effect. And filmora9 CAN reduce audio although you could manage with audacity since its free. My suggestion would be to record one slap and make a duplicate that's just a touch softer.

Thanks for the advice. I'm still messing around with audio at the moment, trying to find a decent program for recording. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
